Vulcan Roman Smith God

Vulcan is the smith of the gods, and made Jupiter's thunderbolts.

 He does his smithing is in the volcano Etna, in Sicily, where one can see open fires from his forge.



One time, he made Jupiter furious, and Jupiter threw him from Heaven. Vulcan dropped to Earth and smashed both legs, which made him unable to use them.

So he made ladies of gold to assist him in his smithing.
