Bacchus is the god of wines.
Having been accompanied by Maenads, a "wild dancing women"
They transported the thyrsus, "a staff of giant fennel" coated with ivy leaves, and a pinecone on the top.
There exists a wonderful description of a Bacchanalia, or feast in honor of Bacchus, in Prince Caspian, one of many Narnia books, by C.S.Lewis.
Bacchus was additionally the god of the theater, ever since the first plays in Greece were carried out in his honor.
