Pluto Roman God of the Dead

Pluto is the god of the Dead. Romans had been afraid to say Pluto's actual name simply because they were afraid he may notice them and they might die.

Pluto occasionally got mistaken for the Greek god, Plutus, the god of prosperity.

It is not surprising, since the titles sound alike, and as well wealth, like gold, silver or jewels, are located underground, just where Pluto dominated.

The metal Plutonium is radio active. It had been found soon after the planet Pluto.
