Diana Roman Goddess of the Moon

Diana was the goddess of the moon. Her twin brother Apollo is the god of the sun.

Diana carries a bow and arrows. She is the empress of hunting. When she was bathing in a woodland pool a hunter called Actaeon spied upon her.



So Diana turned him in to a stag and he was hunted down by his own pet dogs.

She aided women in child birth and labor, since her mother Leto gave birth to her and her twin sibling so easily.
