Aeacus Ancient Greek Mythology

Aeacus is from Ancient Greek Mythology. He was the King of Attica, a small island of the coast of Greece.

He was the son of  Zeus and Aegina. His mother was abandoned on the island by Zeus, he became King when he became an adult.

The people of Attica suffered from a very bad plague in which most of the population was killed. Aeacus had no alternative but to seek out his father Zeus for help.

Since Zeus had treated him so nasty in the past he decided to help. Zeus helped rebuild the population.
