Inanna Sumerian Goddess

Inanna is the Sumerian Mother Goddess of Agriculture, Order, Protection, Abundance etc.

Inanna's Knot was weaved into all door posts and jars. It was made of wheat (or grasses) and reeds.



It was even made in brass on door posts. Its job was to protect, bring order, abundance, luck and prosperity to the household.

So when you are pulling all the long grasses and weeds from your garden and lawn this weekend, braid some for Inanna and hang it buy your door.
