Minerva the Roman Goddess of Wisdom

Minerva is the goddess of wisdom. Her symbolic representation is the owl. Her Ancient greek name is Athene, and Athens is her city.

She had an unusual birth. One day, Jupiter got a bad head ache. Absolutely nothing could cure it. Finally Vulcan split open Jupiter's head.



Finally out jumped Minerva in armour with a shield and spear! Jupiter was feeling wonderful afterwards.

Minerva is the goddess of arts and crafts. The lady was especially good at weaving.
