Apollo Roman God of the Sun

Apollo is the god of the sun. Every day he drives his chariot of fiery horses through the sky to give light to the world.

Apollo has a son named Phaethon, that was human. Phaethon nagged to Apollo to let him use the sun chariot Eventually Apollo agreed.



Phaethon happily drove the sun chariot up in to the sky, however he lost control of the horses.

The sun chariot dove towards the earth, losing everything. Finally Jupiter were forced to stop him with a thunder bolt.
