Atlas God of Strength

During the war with the Titans, Alas stormed Olympus and threatened the Olympian Gods.

As a consequence, Zeus sentenced him to uphold the heavens and on his shoulders and endure the weight for all of eternity.

The terrible burden was made somewhat easier for Atlas to endure when Perseus turned him to stone with the head of Medusa. He is now referred to as "Mount Atlas."
