St Madron is the Patron Saint of Cures. Additionally helps protect people from Pain. He is a natural painkiller.
He is a Cornish Saint which has a town and a Holy Well showing his name.
The well is suggested for the remedy of chest conditions, disturbing dreams and rickets (condition caused by lack of vitamin D)
There was specific ceremonies to follow for best results.
These appear to be more Pagan than Christian.
